way!!!
We
specialize in the English Teddy Bear type!
All of
our puppies have the broader more square faces like the
Golden Retriever!
Just look
at our Golden Retrievers compared to other breeders Golden
Retrievers and we
think you'll see the difference in the quality of our
breeding stock!
Estimated
size of our F1B Mini's when full grown: 10-25 pounds. We
can help you select a puppy that will be the size you want,
just tell us what your looking for!
If you notice most breeders F1B minis are over 25 pounds,
because they are using standard size goldendoodles to breed
to instead of mini size, so be careful about sizes, just
because the breeder is calling their puppies minis, to them
that might mean 30-48 pounds!!!
WE ALSO HAVE
MICRO MINI GOLDENDOODLES 10-15 POUNDS FULL GROWN!!! MAYBE
EVEN SMALLER THAN 10 POUNDS!!!
FOR THE MICRO MINIS
THE MOTHER IS ONLY 10 POUNDS AND THE FATHER IS 15 POUNDS.
We also have a ton more information about Mini Goldendoodles
at the bottom of this page,
located under "Mini Goldendoodle Info &

Our normal F1B Minis are so small they can fit in a candy dish! This
puppy pictured in the candy dish is an 8 week old F1B Mini, this picture is for example only,
this puppy is NOT for sale! Micro Minis are even smaller than
the puppy pictured in the candy dish!

Goldendoodle Info & Pictures
The Mini Goldendoodles pictured below are shown for examples only, they are
NOT for sale!
This section is
always under construction,
more pictures and info will continue to be added to this page as
they are sent to us!
Below are some pictures our
clients have emailed to us of their F1 & F1B Miniature Goldendoodles,
which they got
from us!
Goldendoodle
hair gets quite long, so when you see them with shorter hair,
it's only because their owner has given them a haircut and some
owners will just cut the hair off around their eyes!
If the owner has told us their weight and height
or if they shed, then we have
included that information.
Height is measured from the floor to the
top of the back or top of the shoulder blades.
Even when a dog doesn't shed, hair will still
come out in the hair brush when you brush them!
What is the difference between an F1, F2 and F1b
Mini Goldendoodle?
Golden Retriever x Mini or Toy Poodle = F1 Mini Goldendoodle
(50% Golden Retriever and 50% Poodle)
F1 Mini or F1 Standard Goldendoodle x Mini or Toy Poodle = F1b Mini
Goldendoodle (25% Golden Retriever and 75% Poodle)
F1 Mini Goldendoodle x F1 Mini Goldendoodle = F2 Mini
Goldendoodle (50% Golden Retriever and 50% Poodle)
F1 Mini Goldendoodle x F1b Mini Goldendoodle = F2 Mini
Goldendoodle (40% Golden Retriever and 60% Poodle)
BEWARE OF SIZES!!!
If the breeder is using the larger dogs, like the Standard
Goldendoodle instead of the Mini Goldendoodle etc, then their going to have
much larger offspring and they still might refer to their
offspring as MINIS, so ask what size both parents are and ask to see pictures and info for
previous puppies they have produced, like we have provided for
you here below.
F1's might shed, some of them even shed a lot and some don't
shed at all, with an F1 the shedding is unpredictable and there
is no way to tell as a puppy if they will shed later or not, no
matter what a breeder might tell you! The F1b's should not
shed at all, we have not sold an F1b that sheds, at least not
that we know of. Both F1's and F1b's are good for people with
allergies, with the F1b's being better for people with moderate
to severe
allergies. The funny thing is that so far none of the "Mini
Goldendoodle" F1's we have sold shed (none that we know of), it
seems to be only the "Standard" F1's that we have experienced
any shedding.
F2's are in-between the F1 and F1b, they might shed if they are
50% Poodle, but if they are 60% Poodle then they are much less
likely to shed than the F1, but still more likely than the F1b
which is 75% Poodle and doesn't shed at all.
Our F1, F2 and F1b Mini Goldendoodles all look very
similar and act the same, except we do find F1b Mini
Goldendoodles to occasionally (not always) be shyer as puppies than F1 Mini Goldendoodles,
but they quickly grow out of their shyness by 10-12 weeks of age. In this breed a male
or female make equally as good pets, we just suggest neutering
males by 6-9 months of age, so they don't lift their legs to pee
etc.
Our F1's and F2's do not have curly hair, they have straighter to
wavy hair, but with our F1b's we find we get a mix in each
litter. Some of the F1b's have hair just like the F1's straighter to
wavy and some have curlier hair, not as curly as a poodle, but
some are curlier than an F1 or F2. The faces on our F1b Mini Goldendoodles are still boxy, not poodley, but they are smaller
than the F1 or F2 Mini Goldendoodles, so of course their faces will be
smaller as well to match their body size. Our F1b Mini
Goldendoodles are smaller than our F1 or F2 Mini Goldendoodles, but
that might not be the case with other breeders, because when we
breed for F1b Mini Goldendoodles, we use a Mini Goldendoodle,
not a Standard Goldendoodle like some of the other breeders do.
So check with the breeder as to what sizes they produce, because
each breeder can have different sizes and still call them
toy, minis, petite, medium etc.
This is what we mean by a mix in each litter, as you can see
from the 2 pictures below, one pup has straighter hair
and one has wavier hair. They are both from the same
litter (sisters). They are both F1b Mini's, they
just look a little different. The straighter one looks exactly like an
F1 Mini, but smaller and shouldn't shed at all even though she
has straighter hair, so if you need no-shed & very
allergy friendly, then go for the F1b.

How We Breed & Temperaments: we do NOT use
Toy Poodles, because we find them to have poor dispositions.
In our opinion they are nervous, yappy, not good with small kids and they have
more health problems. But we find the Mini Poodles to be like the
Standard Poodles and feel they have wonderful dispositions and
are the healthiest of the Poodles. When we breed for F1b minis,
we use F1 Mini Goldendoodles and NOT the F1 Standard
Goldendoodles, so we get the "smaller sized" F1b minis. The
fathers are always the Poodle, because we find that the mom
being the Golden Retriever or Goldendoodle passes on more of the
Golden Retriever traits to their puppies.
You will find that
we have very boxy faces in the puppies we produce, even the
wavier pups do not
look thin faced and poodley! This is because we have superior show quality
breeding stock in our lines! Our minis are also mellow, you can even ask any of
our clients. We have heard other breeders saying minis are more
hyper than standards, but with our dogs we find that to be VERY
untrue! We breed calm dogs, our minis are calm, yet still
gently playful. I say "gently" playful, because I find them to
be gentle mouthed, much more gentle mouthed than a Golden
Retriever puppy. They love the water, love playing fetch, they love kids
and get along great with other pets, we have 2 birds and 2 cats!
They are fun and energetic, but not hyper by any means! So if a
breeder says minis are more hyper than standards, then I would
say that breeder either has poor quality breeding stock, or
they're trying to sell you a standard!
Due to their size, the minis even do well in apartments and
condo's. We're also
finding that the Mini Goldendoodles are turning out to be much
healthier than pure breed Golden Retrievers, Poodles and even
the Standard Goldendoodles! Smaller dogs are also proven to live
longer than larger dogs! So when buyer's tell us, that other
breeders told them, that there are health problems with the
minis, because of their organs being too large for their bodies
etc... we just have to laugh, because that is absolutely
ridiculous and not true at all!!!
They just don't breed them and so they want to sell you what
they breed, we breed both!
This statement below was copied off of the Eukanuba dog food web site:
"small breeds can live up to an average of 50% longer than
larger dogs"
To date we have NOT had even one case that we know of, of hip
dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, heart problems or eye problems in
any of the Mini Goldendoodles we have produced!
That's why we prefer minis over standards for health reasons,
the minis have proven to be healthier!
Need more info not covered here, email us, we're happy to answer
your questions! We also have a "Breed Information" page on this
site!
Check out these great pictures our clients have sent to us
of their F1 and F1b Miniature Goldendoodles, that came from our
kennel:

F1b Miniature Goldendoodle, female, does not shed. She dunks her head to drink, so her mouth is wet. Her owner
Julie wrote this to me (see below), so I thought I would share it:
Hi there, just had to share a funny with you...I swear you would
think Molly
was a celebrity if you saw what happens every time I go out! I
just met a
friend today for lunch at the Century City out door mall and went to the pet food
store and I had
three people stop me and ask a million questions and where I got
her....seriously, it happens so much that my best friend (who I
was meeting for lunch) gives
up even trying to finish our conversations as we just keep
getting
interrupted....and today I had her out with Max and the two of
them together draw so many
oohs and ahhs, we just walk through the mall laughing the whole
time....she of
course looovvvess all the attention! I'm seriously
considering typing up a little bio on her on what kind of dog
she is, what is her
personality and where did I get her to carry in my purse to just
give to people
when they stop me, because everyone is always digging for a pen
and it takes me
forever to go anywhere....I of course love it and love sharing
info on her, but
I might just print up a friendly info card to hand people so I
can get from
point A point B! It's really funny to see...and I'm not
exaggerating, it's
every time we go out!

Adult
F1 Miniature Goldendoodle, female, does not shed. This is Iris
Jr. and she is one of our own dogs, we kept her for ourselves. Spongebob
is her dad and our dark red color Golden Retriever named Iris is
her mom. She is not groomed in this picture and she just had
puppies, so she looks like a mess, she looks MUCH prettier when
she is all groomed up, but we wanted to show you her picture
anyway, so you could see what the dark red
color looks like. When she was a puppy she was dark red.

Adult F1b Miniature Goldendoodle, male, 18-19 inches tall, 26
pounds, does not shed.

Pictured above (3 pictures) is an adult female F1b Miniature
Goldendoodle named Charlie. She is 13 pounds full grown. She was the runt of
her litter and was a very tiny puppy. She is 13 inches tall and
16 inches long. She does not shed. This is an email I just
received from her owner:
Hi Lisa,
Just thought I would update you. Charlie is doing great...
getting a little bratty because my husband has spoiled her
rotten! I saw what you wrote about other breeders on your sight
and wanted to let you know that there are several other
goldendoodles at the dog park we take the dogs to and NONE of
them are as beautiful as Charlie. ALL of the other owners love
her and wish they would have researched more because they did
not end up with the quality of dog like Charlie (not to say they
don't love their dogs... they do).
One of my students loves Charlie so much that her parents are
considering getting a dog from you. I hope that works out
because I know they will be thrilled.
Thanks
